Transaction categorization uses a combination of rules learned from your own confirmed choices and, where enabled, AI-assisted suggestions. These suggestions can be wrong. Bookkeeping Machine flags low-confidence suggestions for your review, but you are responsible for reviewing and approving categorizations before relying on any report for tax filing or financial decisions.
No Guarantee of Tax Compliance
We do not guarantee that reports generated by the Service are complete, accurate, or compliant with any tax jurisdiction's requirements. Always have a qualified tax professional review your books before filing.
Payroll & Time Tracking
The Service's Payroll and Time Tracking features help track employee hours and prepare payroll summaries for your own records. All hours, overtime, and pay totals are planning estimates only — the Service does not calculate tax withholding, does not issue direct deposits, and does not file payroll tax forms, and it is not a complete payroll-processing service. Export these summaries to a verified payroll provider or your accountant to run actual payroll.
Bank Connections
Balances and transactions imported via bank connections depend on data provided by your financial institution through Plaid, and may be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally incorrect.
